Runes & Rune Traits System – Awakening Group – Violet

Rune System  Runes are stones you inlay your equipment with. Any rune can have 1 of 4 parameters to them to strengthen your character: Health, Artifact Power, Accuracy and Evasion. Runes can be inserted in the equipment with the same color slots as themselves:

Guide_elyon_runes Accordingly, these 4 parameters give:

Health increases your max HP pool
Artifact Power increases your maximum pool of special parameter allowing to choose more artifacts for particular class skills
Accuracy increases the chance for attacks to hit
Evasion increases the chance to attacks to be evaded

Apart from 6 color runes there are special white runes: Such runes can be inserted in any colored runeslot. These runes have 2 parameters to strengthen your character with.

Rune Groups White runes, apart from color ones, do not have one additional special parameter to them, which is written in the right upper corner of the tooltip and called Rune Characteristics parameter. 

Colored runes give this parameter, which gives points to the special rune group of the same color.

There are, of course, 6 of these groups. Groups give access to rune traits according to the number of rune characteristic parameter of the certain color:

Onslaught traits of attacks and combat

Control traits of control mechanics

Destiny traits of chances and supplemental parameters

Support traits of support and healing

Defence traits of defence

Awakening traits of high risk/high reward abilities with positive and negative effects

Each of the group has their traits divided into sets that are accessed by accumulating certain amount of certain

color points of rune characteristics by tiers: 4, 8, 16, 28, 44, 64: Each set, accordingly, allows you to activate 1 trait out of the number of traits presented in it.

Rune Traits Awakening Group - Violet

TIER 4

Glass Cannon

Increases output damage/healing by 8%, but increases incoming damage by 4%

Diamond Skin

Decreases incoming damage by 8%, but increases incoming critical damage by 20%

Speed of Light

Increases the movement speed by 16, but decreases the attack speed by 4%

Insight

Decreases cooldowns for all skills by 8%, but decreases the Artifact Power by 12

TIER 8

True Awakening

Traits of the set (4) of the Awakening group: Glass Cannon, Speed of Light, Diamond Skin, Insight, no longer have negatives effects to them

Enhanced Awakening

Positive effects of traits of the set (4) of the Awakening group: Glass Cannon, Speed of Light, Diamond Skin, Insight, increase by 1.5 times

Dual Awakening

Both positive and negative effects of traits of the set (4) of the Awakening group: Glass Cannon, Speed of Light, Diamond Skin, Insight, increase by 2 times

TIER 16

First Setp

Upon entering a combat you acquire buff, granting immunity to all mechanics restricting character’s actions for 4 seconds

First Blood

Upon entering a combat you acquire buff, increasing output damage/healing by 15% for 4 seconds

First Impulse

Upon entering a combat you acquire buff, removing resource consumption for 4 seconds

TIER 28

The Point of Awakening

While standing still as you inflict damage you acquire a buff, increasing output damage/healing by 2% for 10 seconds (maximum 10 stacks). The buff is removed upon movement

The Fury of Awakening

Upon taking damage you acquire a stack of a buff “The Fury of Awakening” for 10 seconds.

The Fury of Awakening: upon reaching 10 stacks of the buff an explosion occurs, inflicting 300 damage and Knockdown on maximum 7 enemy targets in 8m radius. Damage of the trait does not disperse while hitting multiple targets (damage of the trait also ignores Block effect)

After the explosion the character cannot acquire stacks of the buff for 15 seconds

The description does not state the type of damage inflicted.

Harmony of Elements

Upon attacking you acquire an indefinite buff, increasing output damage/healing for all skills of other types by 20%, while the damage/healing for skills with the same type as the initial attack have their output damage/healing decreased by 10%

The Moment of Awakening

Upon entering a combat and each 5 seconds since, you acquire a buff, increasing output damage/healing by 2% for 10 seconds (maximum 10 stacks). Each time you take damage you lose 1 stack of the buff

TIER 44

Shock Awakening

Your skill Shock Release gains +1 charge

Unstable Awakening

Decreases the cooldown for the skill Shock Release by 50%, but the skill no longer grants immunity to all mechanics restricting character’s actions

The Blood of Awakening

Decreases the cooldown for the skill Shock Release by 100%, but decreases the maximum HP of the character by 50%

TIER 64

The Veil Darkness

You acquire an additional skill for your skillbar [The Veil of Darkness]: your attack speed as well as output damage/healing increases by 20%. Each 2 seconds you lose 3% HP

Only one trait of sets (64) of all runetrait groups at the time can be activated for the character

The skill works as a toggle ability, like an aura.

Dark Wraith

You acquire an additional skill for your skillbar [Dark Wraith]: You transform into wraith, gaining immunity to any damage as well as any mechanics for 10 seconds. The skill can be used even in states of mechanics restricting character’s actions (skill cooldown 30 seconds).

Each 2 seconds while transformed you lose 3% HP (you can stop the ability and transform back prematurely).

You can sprint while transformed into wraith

Only one trait of sets (64) of all runetrait groups at the time can be activated for the character

The description now misses the indication for the debuff Fear upon leaving the transformation form, though the video-preview still has it.

The Burst of Darkness

You acquire an additional skill for your skillbar [The Burst of Darkness]: Each 2 seconds you release a wave of dark energy in front of you for 18m distance, inflicting 130 damage on maximum 5 enemy targets. Each 2 seconds you lose 3% HP

Only one trait of sets (64) of all runetrait groups at the time can be activated for the character

The skill works as a toggle ability, like an aura. The damage type of the skill is not specified.

Dark Pact

You acquire an additional skill for your skillbar [Dark Pact]: you establish a bond between yourself and allied target, decreasing cooldowns for both of you by 1 second each 0.5 seconds (skill cooldown 25 seconds)

The skill is a channeling type ability, but the cast time is not specified in the description. It is currently unknown whether the skill can be cast indefinitely or not, and if not – what is supposed to be its cast time. It is also unknown when the cooldown for the skill occurs, whether it is a start or an end of the cast.

The skill works as a toggle ability, like an aura. The damage type of the skill is not specified.
