Runes & Rune Traits System – Defense Group – Blue
Rune System Runes are stones you inlay your equipment with. Any rune can have 1 of 4 parameters to them to strengthen your character: Health, Artifact Power, Accuracy and Evasion. Runes can be inserted in the equipment with the same color slots as themselves:
Accordingly, these 4 parameters give: Health increases your max HP pool Artifact Power increases your maximum pool of special parameter allowing to choose more artifacts for particular class skills Accuracy increases the chance for attacks to hit Evasion increases the chance to attacks to be evaded Apart from 6 color runes there are special white runes:
Such runes can be inserted in any colored runeslot. These runes have 2 parameters to strengthen your character with. Rune Groups White runes, apart from color ones, do not have one additional special parameter to them, which is written in the right upper corner of the tooltip and called Rune Characteristics parameter. Colored runes give this parameter, which gives points to the special rune group of the same color. There are, of course, 6 of these groups. Groups give access to rune traits according to the number of rune characteristic parameter of the certain color: Onslaught – traits of attacks and combat Control – traits of control mechanics Destiny – traits of chances and supplemental parameters Support – traits of support and healing Defence – traits of defence Awakening – traits of high risk/high reward abilities with positive and negative effects Each of the group has their traits divided into sets that are accessed by accumulating certain amount of certain
color points of rune characteristics by tiers: 4, 8, 16, 28, 44, 64: Each set, accordingly, allows you to activate 1 trait out of the number of traits presented in it.

TIER 3
Titan Protection
You take 10% less damage of monster type “Boss”
Determination
While in a state of any mechanic restricting character’s actions, you acquire a buff, decreasing incoming damage by 10%. Any skill used removes the buff prematurely
Magic Shield
All damage taken to the shield is decreased by 10%
Critial Shield
All damage taken to the shield is decreased by 10%
TIER 6
Shield of Battle
Each time inflicting critical hit you acquire a stack of an indefinite buff, granting the shield effect of 10 points (maximum 10 stacks, trait cooldown 1 second)
Shield of Restraint
Each time inflicting damage on distance of 12m or more you acquire a stack of an indefinite buff, granting the shield effect of 10 points(maximum 10 stacks, trait cooldown 1 second)
TIER 12
Life Consumption
Each time inflicting damage on any enemy target you restore 10 HP (trait cooldown 2 seconds, trait works only with direct damage)
Evasive Recovery
Each 2 seconds while in a state of Block, or upon a successful evasion, you restore 15 HP (trait cooldown 2 seconds)
Shield of Cunning
Each time inflicting damage with back attacks you acquire a stack of an indefinite buff, granting the shield effect of 10 points (maximum 10 stacks, trait cooldown 1 second)
Shield of Evasion
Upon taking damage while in a state of Block, or upon a successful evasion, you acquire a stack of an indefinite buff, granting the shield effect of 10 (trait cooldown 1 second)
Battle Mending
Each time taking damage you restore 20 HP (trait cooldown 2 seconds, trait works only with direct damage)
Meditation
While standing still, you acquire an indefinite buff, restoring 30 HP each 2 seconds. Movement removes the buff (though movement-type skills do not remove the buff)
TIER 21
Critical Evasion
Upon taking critical hit you acquire a stack of a buff, increasing your critical hit resistance by 5% for 10 seconds (maximum 5 stacks)
Trap Shield
Upon taking damage of AOE attacks in PVP you acquire a stack of a buff, decreasing incoming AOE damage by 5% for 10 seconds (maximum 5 stacks)
Shield of Projectile
Upon taking damage of Projectile attacks in PVP you acquire a stack of a buff, decreasing incoming Projectile damage by 5% for 10 seconds (maximum 5 stacks)
Instant Protection
Upon taking any damage you acquire a stack of a buff, decreasing incoming damage by 2.5% for 1 second (maximum 10 stacks)
TIER 33
Counterprotection
Each time your enemy blocks your attack while in a state of Block, they recieve 150 physical damage. The damage taken by the trait cannot be blocked (trait cooldown 3 seconds)
Counterevasion
Each time evading an enemy’s attack you fire a Target Projectile, inflicting 150 physical damage (trait cooldown 5 seconds). The damage done by the projectile cannot be evaded by the enemy target
Glacial Protection
Upon taking damage there is a 1% chance to fire a Target Projectile, inflicting target with Glaciation for 3 seconds (trait cooldown 30 seconds)
Glaciation: Cannot perform any actions. The target with the debuff receives 30% more lightning magic damage
TIER 48
The Boon of Guardian
Upon taking damage there is a 10% chance to acquire a buff, decreasing incoming damage by 20% and granting the shield effect of 350 points (trait cooldown 30 seconds)
The Veil of Protection
Upon taking magic damage there is a 2% chance to acquire a buff, cleansing all negative mechanics and granting magic damage immunity for 5 seconds (trait cooldown 10 seconds)
The Boon of Immortality
Upon taking damage while having 10% or less HP you acquire a buff, granting immunity to all damage for 10 seconds (trait cooldown 60 seconds)
The Boon of Resolve
You acquire an effect, granting immunity to all mechanics restricting character’s actions, while casting any ability with cooldown 5 seconds or more
